Difficult DIY project
This is not a simple process. There are many videos for refrigerator repair but absolutely none available for mine which made this project even more difficult coupled with the fact that not even the owners manual had an installation/replacement instructions but it showed you EVERYTHING else. It takes a huge flat head screw driver and some tugging to get the part out and it's a 2 person job (if you don't want to break anything). Basically lay on your back, push up where the arrow is with the screw driver while some else pulls. Unless you have $89 to pay Sears to diagnosis a problem that you already know exist plus the cost of repair which runs $200-$400 for this repair, I suggest you do it yourself. I found someone to do this for $65. Everyone was basically trying to charge me the price of a new freezer door.
