I installed the part. Started mowing it fell apart
I installed the part . I started mowing and the 4th time I shifted in reverse it fell apart. The little ball joint came out of tr socket.

Some modifications needed
Had to order this part due to the original shift link for craftsman was discontinued. Was a little longer. Cut to length and mug welded together. Perfect fit.

Replacement Part
Basically easy to install but you have to lift the mower to get access. The new part is not the oem part. It broke shortly after installing. Made from cheap materials. I fabricated my own part and its working fine.

It was easy to install but broke after mowing 200 feet. Very poor quality. Don't waste your money or time on this part.
