Choosing the right blade speed when using your Hitachi reciprocating saw

• Use high blade speed when cutting wood and other soft materials.
• Medium blade speed is best for cutting non-ferrous materials and thick plastic work pieces.
• Use low blade speed when cutting metal work pieces and metal pipe.

Electrical safety precautions to follow when using your Hitachi reciprocating saw

• The reciprocating saw plug must match the receptacle on the electrical wall outlet. Never modify the power saw's power cord plug in any manner. Don't use an adapter plug with an earth grounded power saw.
