To replace the blower wheel the front of the dryer needs to be disassembled including the front of the duct assembly. Once this is completed it takes a couple of minutes to replace the Blower Wheel. The project will take a couple of hours.

Solved the noisy dryer problem

Installing the dryer blower wheel was a very quick job. Most of the time was spent removing cabinet screws, housing screws, and being careful not to disturb the wiring harness. A single C clip held the blower wheel to the shaft along with a clamp on the wheel to maintain tightness to the shaft. Old off, new on, done. Basic tools and a bit of patience was all the job required.
