BOTHE PIECES WERE WRONG pieces!!!!!
March 16, 2021

My repair man couldn't get the part ordered. Sears rep ASSURED me was in stock on FEBUARY 1st!!! Asked if I wanted a water filter too. Not knowing I said OK. Got the filter that turned out my unit does NOT have. Received the filter in few days "that I could NOT use". Waited for original piece that I NEEDED and MANY phone calls. Was told Sears parts did NOT have part and wasn't sure WHEN it would be available. Was told they had a "replacement" part that WOULD WORK. 3 times more money. Agreed part did arrive. Called my installation man to install them. BOTH were WROND. This unit does not even have a water filter and the original piece that I DID need wasn't correct!!!! I'm 75 years old and had NOTHING BUT KENMORE in my house since I was a small child and my parents!!! Very VERY UN-happy "former" custome. 3 year old unit, waiting for 6 weeks and get a piece my unit does NOT have and the INCORRECT piece that I DOOOO need???? What's happened to SEARS????

Refrigerator Defrost Assembly Replacement
November 25, 2020

Delivery of the sensor took a bit longer than expected but may have been delayed due to COVID-19 issues. Replacement was relatively easy for a DIY using YouTube videos. Unfortunately, the sensor did not solve my problem.

Did not solve problem

I have no disappointment about the part or service. However, installation of the new part did not fix the problem, i.e., eliminating the error code "er dH". It could be the heating element needs to be replaced. Service for the part was good.

Easy to install, but slow shipping
September 24, 2019

No instructions came with the part, but you can find videos on YouTube. Easy to install, but there is really no way for me to tell if it is working. I may have to wait a week or two to see if the coils are iced up again.
