I was looking for a vapor barrier which was an L-shaped plastic barrier that fit in the lower front door. Whirlpool/Kenmore has evidently changed the part # and now what was supposed to be a barrier is nothing more than a long metal wire. Doesn't do much to prevent moisture. They now call it a hinge brace. It is a shame that DIY repairs cannot be performed on a dishwasher that is around 5 years old. Some of us don't live in what is considered a "disposable" world. I was hoping that Sears Parts Direct would have the correct part. The box arrived empty in the same type of box that I have received the incorrect part in from another vendor.

The part sent to me doesn’t correspond to the vapor barrier I ordered.
