Treating common pressure washer issues
- Engine won’t start—It’s vital to remember to change the oil in the engine of your pressure washer. When the oil becomes bad, it won’t lubricate and cool engine parts.
- Weak spray—A clogged inlet screen or hose might cause weak spray. Attempt to clean the pieces thoroughly, and then test the jet. If it's still weak, you may need to replace pump.
- Losing power—Besides frequently changing the oil, you’ll want to make sure you're using a clean air filter. A dirty filter can also cause your carburetor to become sticky and possibly lead to failure. If the situation is too severe, the carburetor will need to be replaced.
