Replacing the pad in your ArcticCircle evaporative cooler

  • Shut off the evaporative cooler and unplug the power cord or shut off the house circuit breaker for the cooler.
  • Lift up the small roller ends to disconnect the 2 center rollers.
  • Pull out the 2 small rollers.
  • Pull out and turn the top roller bearing up to line up the slot.
  • Lift the edge of the pad from under the guide and pull out the top roll end.
  • Take out the pad bottom roller.
  • Replace the pad and reassemble to cooler.

Cleaning your ArcticCircle evaporative cooler

  • Disconnect electrical power by shutting off the house circuit breaker for the evaporative cooler or by unplugging the cooler.
  • Remove the louvers.
  • Connect a garden hose to the water tray drain fitting.
  • Remove the overflow pipe from the tray.
  • Drain water from the tray and clean the tray.
  • Repeat the process for the other water tray.
  • Replace the pads.
  • Reassemble the evaporative cooler and restore electrical power.
