Common replacement parts for Wisperkool evaporative coolers

  • Media pad. The media pad holds water absorbed from the reservoir. As the fan blows air across the media pad, cooled and moistened air circulates into the room.
  • Blower fan motor. The blower fan motor rotates the blower wheel to move air across the media pad and into the room for cooling.
  • Air filter. The air filter traps dust and debris from the incoming air.
  • Blower wheel. The blower wheel fits on the blower fan motor shaft and rotates to circulate air into the room for cooling.

Cleaning the media pads in your Wisperkool evaporative cooler

  • Shut off the house circuit breaker to disconnect electrical power for the evaporative cooler.
  • Remove the front cover mounting screws then pull off the front cover panel.
  • Remove the top panel mounting screws and remove the top panel.
  • Remove the distribution tube assembly and slide the media pads out of the evaporative cooler.
  • Wash the media pads thoroughly using a sprayer.
  • Reinstall the media pads and reassemble the evaporative cooler. Restore electrical power to the evaporative cooler.
