Craftsman Lawn Tractor

A part that you must have to install a new grass discharge shield.

fit exactly as needed

installed the new discharge chute and this nut held it on. Old one was cut off as it is really hard to reuse this nut.

easy to install

took all of two minutes to install. I used a socket the same size as the nut ring to bang it in to place. easy peasy

Installation

It was very easy to install. I just needed something to keep the shaft from sliding.

Took sooo long to get

Very difficult to install - no instructions - had to go to UTUBE What I received was a Push Nut but does not look like the picture. BUT - I was finally able to get it on and The lawn mower is safe to use again.

Push Nut

For the Price it would have been nice to get a plastic drive on cylinder.

AGAIN NO INSTRUCTIONS OR ADVICE ON INSTALLATION

It took a month to get this back ordered part which I don't understand. Again helpful instructions on how to install and which way. I eventually used large enough socket to bang it onto the rod.
