Perfect part match

This part worked perfectly, but it wasn't easy to replace. The nuts holding it to the mower are in a very tight place and difficult to reach/turn. You can only turn each nut 1/6th turn at a time with an open end wrench, so you can't be impatient. The biggest challenge is getting the nuts started on the new studs. I used the open end wrench to hold the nut in place while pushing the stud all the way in. This used the partition behind the assembly to keep the nut in place long enough to remove the wrench and spin the nut with one finger until the threads caught. It was rather tricky.

Moderate installation effort

If you need this part it is highly likely there are rusted parts which need to be removed. I replaced two and one was fairly easy, the other had rusted nuts which needed to be ground off. Not too hard with a 4 ' grinder.

wrong part pictured

The picture shows a left hand side adjuster. The description makes no mention re whether it's right or left. I assumed it was left. It was right. I ended up pulling out the bearing, which is what actually failed, and using my old parts from there, since I'd otherwise have spend around $20 in shipping to get the right part.. I see the picture is corrected. Moral: don't trust the picture.
