Cleaning the oil filter in a Baja go kart

• Park the go kart on a level surface and drain the oil into an approved container.
• Remove the oil filter plug from the bottom left side of the engine.
• Remove the screen filter and spring assembly.
• Clean the screen filter with solvent.
• Reinstall the filter and refill the engine with oil

Baja go kart brake inspection

• Examine the front and rear disk brake calipers for leakage. Repair or replace any leaking seals or components.
• Inspect all brake hoses for cracks. Replace any cracked or damaged hoses.
• Check brake fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir. If fluid level is at or below the lower mark, inspect brake pad for wear and the hydraulic system for leaks.
• Add brake fluid if necessary.
