Replaced Craftsman Weed Eater fuel lines

Both fuel lines (large and small) deteriorated after many years of use. It was easy to replace and took about 15 minutes to complete. Directions are easy to follow. Just pay attention to where the lines are connected. Hardest part was fishing the fuel filter out of the fuel tank to disconnect from the old line and hook onto the new line (I used a needle nosed plyers to get ahold of it). Tools needed: Scissors and needle nosed plyers.

Received the exact parts needed.

Found that removing the gas tank was the simplest way to replace the fuel line.

Exact replacement

My aging Craftsman Leaf Blower was dead. I was told that it needed new fuel lines and that it wasn't worth the repair shop's time to fix it. I took it on myself to disassemble to assess the damage and required repairs. It turns out that they were right. Both the large and small fuel lines were stiff and cracked. There was no sign that this unit ever had a fuel filter. I ordered the parts and the repair went very well.

Fuel line replacement

Was easy to install. Putting the fuel line on to the carb was a little bit of a struggle. Had to heat it in hot water to soften it up.
