Quick and easy to instal
I watched the video from Sears on how to replace this part. It took all of 30 minutes and 3 tools. Nothing complicated, just removed the outer cover, the inner bracket, unplugged the old part and replaced it with the new one and reverse the steps to completion. Perfect fit and works like a charm. BTW, this was my first time repairing any kind of an appliance.

The dispenser Knob
I only needed the red dispenser knob for the dispenser. I didn't t need to change anything else. I didn't understand why I had to purchase the whole detergent dispenser. the red knob melted in my disherwasher.

Expensive but did the job
This part was very expensive for what it is, but it worked like a charm. The tiny hex-head screws holding it in place were tough to get off. My 4mm socket was too small, 5 mm was too big (!). Overall, though, I'm satisfied since my dishwasher is now back to 100%.

Dish washer dispenser
It was easy to install because I only had to install a small part. I had to order the whole dispenser. I only used the red knob. I had to pay $116.86 for the whole part. Why I could not just have bought the red knob which probably about $2.00. . Now I think if I would have to install the whole unit it would have been difficult for me to do

Directions would have been helpful
Was told it is easy to replace; more so just popping in it. Not so much...... Took a bit more -- needed metric drill bits (not just a philips screw driver) and needed 4.5-5 mm socket wrench (which we didn't have). Also, removed the front face of the door.

replacing dispenser cap.
paid a lit of money to only replace the cap on the existing dispenser. Ridiculous that I had to buy the whole assembly when I only needed the rinse aid cap! Couldn't find the cap on it's own anywhere.
