Thermistor (temperature sensor) is defective
Clean the lint filter and exhaust duct system, because high temperature due to blocked exhaust air flow is sensed as a faulty thermistor. If the exhaust vent system is clear, replace the thermistor.
Not heating
Unplug the dryer and check the heating system components. For an electric dryer, check the house circuit breakers to see if one has tripped. For a gas dryer, make sure that the gas supply cut-off valve is fully open.
Door switch failure
Unplug the dryer and lift the top panel to access the door switch. Reconnect any loose wires. Replace the door switch wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, replace the door switch.
Drive motor relay failure on the machine control board
Unplug the dryer and open the control panel to access the machine control board. Reconnect any loose wires on the machine control board. Replace the main wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness connections are okay, replace the machine control board.
Stuck key on the control panel
Press each key firmly to free up the stuck key. Replace the control panel if the key remains stuck.
