This DIY video shows step-by-step instructions for disassembling the water and ice dispenser on a Kenmore 795-series side-by-side refrigerator.

The model shown in the video is 795.72052110. This disassembly procedure will also work for similar Kenmore refrigerators such as models 795.72052112, 795.72052113, 795.72182210, 795.72062316, 795.72042316, 795.72052114, 795.72372310, 795.72052111 and 795.72042110.

Follow these steps to disassemble the ice and water dispenser:

  1. Unplug the refrigerator before beginning disassembly.

  2. Remove the funnel by squeezing the sides and pulling it down.

  3. Insert a screwdriver behind the user interface and pry the bottom of the interface loose.

  4. Disconnect the user interface wire harnesses.

  5. To access the rest of the dispenser components, remove the 3 screws in the dispenser housing cover. Pull out of the bottom of the cover and remove it.

When you reassemble the dispenser, make sure that you don't pinch the wiring.

Order the dispenser parts you need for your refrigerator by keying the model number of your fridge into the search bar at the top of this web page.

If you aren’t completely confident that you can complete this repair, schedule a Sears Technician to replace dispenser parts in your Kenmore refrigerator.
