fairly easy to install
One problem I had was wires weren't long enough to get switch panel out far enough to easily work on replacement. I just took I wire from old switch and matched where it went on new switch. I am ordering another switch for another eye on same stove.

Pro: It works! This is the most important. It arrived as expected. No issues. Good. Con: Sears charges too much. The same model costs less than half elsewhere. I simply trust Sears and ordered without checking around. Plus, what I received is the cheapest model among all the compatible parts.

Substandard quality part compared to the original
Nice to be able to get an OEM part, but the new part was cheaply made since it seems to fit too many models with plastic clip on parts where strong metal was before. Part works, but instructions not good so not easy to make work.

Knob adapter didn't work for our knob
Easy to install but the knob adapter doesn't work so we are using plyers to turn the burner on and off.

fairly easy
Took about thirty minutes. Raised the cooktop and removed the panel with the controls. Removed damaged control, disconnected wires. I recommended we wires. Reinstalled control switch. I tested the control, worked well. Lowered cooktop.
