Part Information
Ice maker 4317943 includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.

Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

didn"t come with a bail wire, that should come with the bail wire. your webb page has no where to get retired employee discount. 33 yrs as service manager. no discount on webb.

Self Icemaker Install
Ice maker came with assortment of wiring harnesses for multiple style hookups and easy to understand directions. Replacement was easy and fast, only tool needed was a 1/4 in. socket. Saved the cost of an unneeded service call and ice maker is working great!

missing shut off arm
The unit works fine and was easy to install. I was very disappointed when it arrived to that it did not come with a shut off arm. Even though it's not shown in the picture, it never occurred to me that it wouldn't come with one. (It's not explicitly mentioned that it does NOT come with one in the description either). Apparently the shut off arm will cost me an additional $32 plus tax and $10 shipping :/

Basically an easy job but anytime you're working in an area like the width of a freezer with a flashlight and a hand mirror it could be better'hahaha!
