Reviews
DIYs: do watch videos first.
tools: a very short Phillips screwdriver, needlenosed pliers to unplug the power connection, and (optional) a sturdy, long, thin blade or snips (think fillet knife, not scizzors or exacto) to cut zipties *carefully* if you remove the old cord. If DIY, not a hard job, but access at floor level can be hard for some folks, and removing the old blower motor fan is not intuitive on my particular model of Kenmore Elite. I could not find a specific video, but looking at other models was helpful. On mine, the power cord for the fan was installed and zip-tied behind the coil assembly. Getting the new one back there looked problematic, so it is in front of the coils now. I could have just cut the old power supply cord at the motor, unplugged it at the connection, and left it, but I chose to remove it, so I had to cut two zipties about 6 inches deep behind the coils, careful not to cut or bend anything else.
