Fixed my OE error and draining issue
I had an issue that caused an OE error and the unit wouldn't drain. I tested the pump and it worked so the Control Board (PCB) turned out to be the culprit. This board is pretty easy to install. Here's what I did: 1. Pry plastic caps on either side of display board with a small screwdriver 2. Unscrew screws that are located under cap with either a Philips screwdriver or a socket. 3. Slide entire display to the left and lift from machine 4. Remove metal cover from rear (it's attached with small tabs) 5. Remove 5 screws that connect PCB and LED display to plastic cover (be sure to place plastic cover with the different cycle buttons on a soft surface to prevent scratching) 6. Remove PCB from LED display by releasing plastic tabs around back edge of display 7. Use small screwdriver to push in connector tabs and remove connectors from control board 8. Make connections to new control board 9. Reassemble The process was quite easy. I did have a difficult time removing one of the smaller connectors from the old board due to the fact that the silicone from the old board had, in essence, glued the connector to it. Feel free to take pictures of the connections before you disassemble, but it looks as if each connector is very different as to prevent mistakes. There's one connector on mine that doesn't have a wire (same on original unit). A picture of my old control board with connections is attached to this review in case you forget to take one and feel you need a photo of the connections. Once I reassembled everything, my OE error was gone and the unit was back to draining as it should.
