Exact part and fit
The part arrived rather quickly after ordering online. I disassembled the old cable and control studying both very carefully as I removed them. Took about 20-25 minutes putting everything back together (the major time consumer was getting under the mower cleaned away to attach the transmission end of the cable). The big test was testing the operation under power. BINGO! Everything works great!

Not too difficult to install
Perfect fit. My original cable got pinched and made it hard to operate .First, the handle-end was fairly easy to remove and I learned that I should have been opening it now and then to dry-lube the parts involved with pulling on the cable. Second, I loosened the handle from the mower and stood it on its back end (a 'wheelie') so the oil would not run into the cylinder. Trickiest parts were the little spring that holds down the gearbox when not engaged and the belt keeper on the gearbox. Needed a very short 1/4 wrench to fit under the pulley. Couldn't fit a socket. Back keeper screw can just be loosened and more accessible front screw taken out. Would have been easier with the mower upside down. Put on a new belt, too, and it really has more drive for my hilly yard.

Fairly easy to install
The part arrived quickly, before I had to mow again. There is not much room to maneuver under the mower but with long needle nosed pliers I got it done.
