Freestanding Freezer: Why don't the lights in my freezer work?

If your interior lights don't turn on when you open the freezer door and you already replaced the light bulb, then the door or lid switch may have failed. Unplug the freezer and test the door switch with a multimeter. Replace the door switch if it failed.

Some freezers use LED's to light the interior compartment. If an LED light board doesn't light up when activated, replace the light board.

Faulty lighting system wiring also prevents interior lights from working. Replace or repair any damaged wiring in the lighting system.
