Possibly ordered wrong part.

Part not installed due to existing switch a consistent connection when door is closed. As I mentioned, the possibility of the sensitive main rotary push/pull switch being the issue, to the technician, they were positive that it was the interlock switch. I'll return the interlock switch and do more research. thank you.

It was no problems installing. The only issue it that the switched failed. I purchased it in 12/28/20. Can you tell me if there is a warranty on that part. If so what is the return procedure.

It was easy to install. Release the dryer top and prop it open. Two screws hold the switch. Change the crimp wire terminals on the two leads. Install the new part. Put the top down. Test dryer for proper operation. Done

Doesn't look like original part
July 16, 2018

Although the part was the one specified for my washer, it was not shaped the same as the one I needed to replace and I couldn't figure out a way to adapt it to work. I wound up defeating the existing switch so the spin cycle would work, and we're back in business again. Next time there's a problem, it's likely I just buy a new washer.
