Even though this capacitor was the correct voltage and such its physical size was way larger than the original unit. Given the fact that the dis/belt sander w us 19 years old, I'm not surprised. That being said, it did/does work well on the unit. It was very hard to remove the old/malfunctioning capacitor and I had to jurry-rig the new/replacement in with zip ties. But!over all the sander now works very well. As a side note: I love on Florida and when I called the Sears service number on the original owners manual was still in use after 19 years. Further the rep, who was India and spoke PERFECT American English, sounded like he was right next door. HE SPOKE PERFECT AMERICAN ENGLISH! All on all! Outstanding customer service and a fair price on a part that actually worked!
