Reviews
Correct part and easy to install
Rating would have been 5-stars had I received the part in a timely manner. I paid for expedited shipping price with an anticipated arrival within 36 hours of ordering the part. It took well over a week to receive the part. I received a different part from Sears Direct without expedited shipping within three business days. Don't pay for the expedited shipping! This was the correct part and Sears Direct was the only reputable place I could find that carried the part. This is the part that failed when we performed a self-cleaning cycle on our Kitchenaid KODE500ESS04 double convection oven. The oven would not power up and the door remained locked following the cleaning cycle. The way to trouble shoot this problem is to use a hard-wire a direct bypass and cycle the circuit breaker off for 1 min and back on. Power should be restored and the oven should unlock when hard wired if this thermal cutout is the culprit.
