It was easy to install you just needed to hook the hose back on to the tank and bolt the tank back onto the rider

When I installed my tank I put down a piece of rubber on each side between the tank & metal mounting bracket to take some of the shock from running the mower which will make the plastic tank last longer is my idea. My old plastic tank had a crack in it so it leaked gas if I put over a 1/4 full.

Poulan Pro Lawn Tractor Gas Tank
May 06, 2018

This tank was a correct replacement for my cracked one. Installation was pretty easy once I removed the old tank. To do that I had to remove the engine cover, steering wheel, and control panel screws to have enough room to slide the tank out. Recommend taking digital pictures during disassembly so you know where all the screws and bolts go. Hardest bolt to remove was for the steering wheel but a long breaker bar helped.

Accidentally pulled gas line fitting out of my tank. Could not get it back in. Because it is Craftsman was able to get a new tank.
