This clamshell (part number 403-00-008) is for boilers.

Clamshell 403-00-008 is the chamber that heats the water passing through the coils. When replacing rear section 403-00-008, also order silicone sealant 240006837, rope 433-00-955 and 2 push nipples 433-00-976.

Shut off the water supply, gas supply and electrical power to the boiler before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
