Installation was very easy
I had several broken teeth on my Hedge trimmer. So I ordered a new one from PartsDirect and the installation was very easy. The only problems that I had were the size of the box that it was shipped in. The part was about 2-3 in. wide, 1in. high & 32in. long. The box it was delivered in was 12in. wide, 14in. high & 34in. along. Which seemed to be a little bigger than needed. The other problem was that taking the blade apart is easy but to put it back together is a problem. When you try to tighten the nuts that hold the blades together it is very hard to figure out how loose or tight they need to be. If their too loose they won't cut and if their too tight the blades won't slide back &forth. There should be a way either by torque or something else to set the blades at the right tightness so they will work properly!!

Suitable replacement for my Poulan PP2822 Trimmer
hard-to-find replacement for trimmer blade, my machine otherwise worked well and I've kept motor in good working order, so it felt great to be able to replace only the blade and avoid throwing away a perfectly good motor and chassis

15 min repair, cover to cover, removed cover, removed blade assembly, greased gearbox, installed new blade assembly, installed cover.

This assembly wasn't the easiest project, but it wasn't the hardest either. You simply need to follow your removal steps and then reassemble the same way you took it apart.
