Installing the auxiliary handle and depth gauge on your Skil hammer drill
Unplug the hammer drill to disconnect electrical power.
Slide the depth gauge into the mounting hole on the grip clamp.
Slide the grip clamp and the auxiliary handle onto the drill collar and turn the handle until it is tight.
Rotate the handle to the desired position. You can rotate the handle 180-degrees to the depth gauge can be used on either side of the hammer drill housing.
