No problem at all to install. Remove the plastic deflector from under the mower to access the ends of the two cables. Remove the control from the handlebar, follow the cables to the other end and disconnect them. Installastio is the opposite, but make sure the cable with the spring on the end isn't pulling on the arm when the control is bolted to the handle, or the self propel will be engaged immediately upon starting the mower. I had to hook the spring into the other hole on the arm to prevent this. Note: it was not necessary to drain the fuel tank, but the fuel to the carb should ne shut off to prevent draining fuel.
