Should Keep My Tiller Running for Another 20 Years
March 27, 2020

Fit perfect just like the original. Price was very reasonable. I expect this transmission to keep my 20+ year old tiller running for another 20 years.

Tiller transmission
January 13, 2020

I received the tiller transmission, it came a couple days early then shipping expected, i had it installed on Sunday, the only thing was the shaft for the fly wheel was different The old one had a flat shift bar the new one had a key bar. So whoever is considering to do this should consider that they will need a new belt Fly wheel to fit the new shaft on the transmission .After making the adjustments got it all put back together and runs great good as new again thank you.

works fine

Due to the design, the entire rototiller had to be taken apart to install, which I have no complaint about since it was reasonably priced, and I have the means to do that. It fit nicely with no hole alignment problems and works fine.

Tiller was 25 years old. Had to replace several of the bolts for an additional $7. The owners manual listed all of the sizes and lengths so it was easy. One day to tear down and one day to put back together. Worked great!

Exactly What I Needed

This install requires time, but if it solves your problem, it is well worth it. My dad has had this tiller for many years (since the early 70s) and the thing runs very well especially after I replaced the gear case.

Since the trans is part of the "frame" of the machine, there's a lot of disassembling to do

Good fit

This part is the core of the entire tiller so just about everything had to be taken apart and reassembled. Took a couple of hours and some head scratching but it all worked out and the tiller is running again. Did not help that most of the old bolts were rusty.
