Questionable tactic by Sales rep

The part we ordered (Control Board) for my Kenmore Elite dishwasher showed a part number that had been replaced with a new part number. When we called and gave him the Model number of the dishwasher he gave us a price on the control board that was less expensive that the new part number. He never informed us that the part was refurbished until after our credit card went through. Once he made his recorded speech he then proceeded to say that the part was refurbished. We said that if it was refurbished we wanted the new part number which would be an unused part. He said it wasn't possible to switch since the credit card went through. He then said the Part wasn't "reborn" and we had 30 days to return it. When we received the part it has a sticker on it that says it is refurbished. We paid $87 for the old refurbished part number as compared to $137 for the new one. These prices include all taxes and shipping. I used a 10% off coupon so the prices I stated above include the 10%. The part installed easily and the dishwasher now works again. We'll see how long the part lasts. The guy should have told us it was a refurbished part so that we could have based our ordering on that information rather after we purchased it. We thought that the old part number was less money because they are no longer making it, not because it was refurbished. He never once said the part was refurbished. He pushed the old part when we asked for the Control Board.
