I installed our Jenn-Air double oven back in 2001, and while we've taken good care of it and it still appears new, all the use over time (and probably the high temp self-cleaning) wore on the door seals. They became stiff enough that they really weren't sealing as well as they should, plus the stiffness made it difficult to close the doors sufficiently to turn off the over light. I shopped around the internet a little and found these seals at Sears Parts Direct for a better price than anywhere else. They're a Whirlpool part, but common to our Jenn-Air. The best way to install these is to disassemble the doors. It's also a good excuse to clean every piece, including the glass since there are multiple layers. Once taken apart, getting the seals installed is much easier since otherwise the insulation in the door will want to resist poking the ends of the seal where they belong. The new seals allow the doors to close tightly so less energy is wasted and the light stays off, and the doors look pristine including the inner glass that we had to polish with a steel wool pad to get all the tiny spots removed that we never saw in the relative darkness when cleaning the oven. A couple of other notes for anyone with this oven: 1) the light switches are no longer manufactured and 2) the display dims significantly after about 5-10 years. We had one light switch that would only function to turn the light off if pressed all the way in and the door won't close that far without constant pressure. I was lucky enough to find a switch on eBay for $30, probably the last one on the planet and well worth the high cost. Any future replacement will require retrofitting some other kind of switch as the one that fits is unique. The dimming display is not the fault of the display itself, it's the fault of an aging capacitor that gradually fails due to the rising heat into the control panel area. I was able to replace that capacitor and got another 10 years out of the display, but I decided to replace the main circuit board (with integrated display) when I replaced the door seals. What a huge difference. Bottom line, for about $200 total we have what is virtually a new double oven.

Correct part, impossible to install...

This was the correct part number for the model of oven, but the pins that mount the gasket to the door were all off by enough that it was impossible to install.
