Installed supply/return lines to H2O filter housin
October 28, 2021

Not difficult to install, but would advise removing water filter housing to connect supply and return lines there first. You can then feed to back of fridge to make final connections. IF you are replacing your water filter housing, I would highly recommend that you replace both the supply and return lines at the same time. Both of my lines leaked after replacing filter housing...and yes, the lines were properly seated and the clips installed. It is really a bad design on Whirlpool's part to use quick disconnects on the filter housing. Compression ftgs would have been a better design.

Water connection tube
October 20, 2021

When removing the existing tube from the fridge connection (near filter), I had to remove a tiny plastic clip that I originally thought was just a useless piece but actually is what locks the tube into place. Remove the tiny clip before trying to remove the existing water line, otherwise you could end up breaking the fridge connection since that tiny clip has ALOT of holding power.
