What can I say about a gasket?
July 22, 2021

Sears made it easy to order and it came when promised. I checked out Youtube for any gotchas, saw that there were none, and did the gasket swap in about two minutes. Easy as pie for the Kenmore freezer and, I assume, for most freezers or refrigerators.

Get it together, Sears
September 06, 2020

I waited for this to show up for MONTHS. When the box finally DID arrive, it was empty, because the box was so poorly constructed that it opened in transit. Really, Sears? You couldn't have sprung for a piece of tape? I called for a replacement, and weeks later when THAT one arrived, I was excited to finally not trip on the big crate of water shoved in front of my freezer to keep it closed, and lo and behold, the goshdurnet (the appropriate word got me busted for profanity) gasket isn't magnetized. I'm shipping it back - maybe the third times the charm.

Easy job

Easy to install but you'll want to take the door off, which isn't too hard. I covered all the frozen stuff with a heavy blanket while it was off.

It took like 15 minutes first I let it sit on table for couples of hours for it not to rip
