Reviews
Exactly what I needed.
Works like it should. Installation is very easy and the average DIYer will be able to replace this sensor in about 10 minutes with basic tools.

Instructions were unclear
It appears that the part is working, however, the plastic connector did not fit the connector on the range harness. The instructions were unclear, and said to cut the connector off and wire it to the range harness, and use the high temp wire nuts which means you also had to cut off the connector on the range harness. The instructions were incomplete and it was a little hard to believe that we were supposed to cut the connector off of the brand new part. You also could not tell that there were two separate wires on each piece until you cut back the insulation, wires can be paired either way and it will work.

Wish there would have been some instructions.
Wish there would have been some instructions on how to install. We thought it would have to be plugged in from the back side of oven. We finally got it installed and that was the problem with the oven not working.

All parts weren't supplied
Instructions said to cut off plug and to use high temp wire nuts to reconnect.Problem's are wire nuts weren't supplied wire is so small that the smallest setting on my strippers won't remove wire coating.I used my teeth to strip coating. If sensor plug is to be cut off then send sensor with no plug wires stripped and supply the wire nuts that instructions say are included.

Get ready to strip
My Kenmore range is 1992-1993, so there is no easy clip in process. I had to strip wires on the range and cut the clip off and strip wires on the part. It comes with the kind of instructions where it's assumed that you already know how to do it, and the wire caps to terminate the wires. Also, I didn't get the owner's manual i ordered with it. It didn't end up being the thing to fix my stove, and after 29 years without a problem I retired the Kenmore. __

Not an easy install due to ceramic nuts
I was able to remove everything easy and strip wires and get ready for wire nuts and that's when I spent almost 20 minutes trying to get the ceramic nuts to bite into the wire . It fixed my oven for sure but the wire nuts were terrible .

Range oven temp sensor
It was easy to install from the front if you cut the OEM wires. Much easier to take off the small right cover in the back and unplug the old, plug in the new, arrange the wires away from heat.
