Maintenance tips for your Golds Gym exercise cycle

• Inspect all parts of the exercise cycle before each use.
• Tighten any loose screws. nuts, bolts, pins or fasteners before using the exercise cycle.
• Replace any worn or damaged parts on the exercise cycle immediately.
• Lubricate all moving parts on the exercise cycle regularly using all-purpose grease.
• Replace the batteries in the console when the console appears dim or it's completely dead. You may also need to replace the batteries when resistance won't change or changes in resistance are sluggish.

Common replacement parts for Golds Gym exercise cycles

• Control console. The control console displays the speed, distance traveled, elapsed time and other user data and is powered by a battery. The console also controls pedal resistance.
• Crank arm. The crank arm spins the crank arm pulley, which rotates the drive belt to spin the flywheel.
• Flywheel. The flywheel spins next to the C-magnet and provides pedal resistance as it disrupts the magnetic field of the C-magnet.
• C-magnet. The C-magnet surrounds a portion of the flywheel and creates variable resistance to the flywheel. The closer the C-magnet sits to the flywheel, the greater the flywheel resistance.
