Reviews

Good product but poorly packaged
August 30, 2020

Spin basket arrived in a box that had gotten ripped open, and it looked like someone had made a crude attempt to tape it back together. Once I opened it I realized why. The basket was in a box twice its size with almost no cushioning. There was one slab of Styrofoam on the bottom that had crumbled into about 100 pieces, but no other support whatsoever. The basket had obviously bounced around inside the box ALOT. I can't put this on the courier...a $240 product should have been packaged much better. I inspected it closely and by some miracle, the basket was undamaged. I installed it and my washer is working fine again. 5 stars for the spin basket, 1 star for the packaging.

This part requires the washer to be completely disassembled with the bottom and 2 sides being all that is left. Also, two people would make it easier to install. Otherwise, the overall process may be time consuming but not difficult

This is obviously the toughest part to replace
May 09, 2018

It took about 2 hours to replace this part. The only "special" tools required is a torx bit for 3 screws (2 for the door latch, and one for the control panel). All in all fairly easy. You'll need two people to get it in and out, as there are parts below you do NOT want to drop this onto.
