GE  Wall Oven  Error Codes

These error code explanations can help you diagnose a problem with your GE wall oven. Error Code Condition Check/Repair Shop Parts
F0, F1 or F7 Stuck or defective button on the key panel Push the Clear/OFF pad. Shut off power to the oven, disconnect the flat ribbon connector from the electronic oven control board and then restore electrical power. If the code reappears after about 30 seconds, replace the electronic oven control board. If the code doesn’t reappear, replace the key panel.

F2 Over-temperature condition detected Disconnect the electrical power supply to the oven. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the oven temperature sensor. Replace the oven temperature sensor wire harness if damaged. If the oven temperature sensor and wire harness are okay, replace the electronic oven control board.

F3 or F4 Oven temperature sensor is defective Disconnect the electrical power supply to the oven. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70 F, replace the oven temperature sensor. Replace the oven temperature sensor wire harness if damaged. If the oven temperature sensor and wire harness are okay, replace the electronic oven control board.

FC Oven door lock is defective Disconnect the electrical power supply to the oven. Reconnect any loose wires in the oven door lock circuit. Replace the oven door lock wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, replace the oven door lock assembly. If the problem recurs, replace the electronic oven control board.

FF Defective electronic oven control board Disconnect the electrical power supply to the oven and replace the electronic oven control board.
