Lawn mower clipping deflector 532402574 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some lawn mowers in these series: Craftsman 917; Husqvarna 917; Weed Eater 388; Yard Pro 371 and 917; Poulan 961, PR6 and XT6; and Ariens 961 and A16.
Clipping deflector 532402574 directs the grass clippings away from the mower deck.
To install, lift the mulching cover then slide the two hooks of the clipping deflector under the mulching cover hinge pin.
Replaces original lawn mower clipping deflector part 402574X428.

This is the correct part and installs in seconds
The part "snaps in" -- there are no screws or fasteners so don't look for them. It is held in place by the spring pressure of the mulching door which presses down on this deflector and holds it firm. Very simple and fast -- this part fits this mower; works well.

Part diesnt match model
This was the part listed under my mower model. It was their "replacement" part to the original. Unfortunately it did not fit. Not sure if i can return.
