Thermistor restores 21-year old electric dryer!

Replacing the dryer thermistor. The only challenge was getting the lower front panel open

Good part, bad troubleshooting by me.

No issues with the party, but due to my poor testing, I discovered i didn't have a bad thermister. I just had the meter set to a low resistance. No harm or foul.

arrived early; solved the problem

After getting a code that said we needed to replace the thermistor, we ordered one. It arrived earlier than promised. Replacing it was not as easy as we hoped for because of the location in our dryer. But once the area was accessed, it was easy.
