Problem fixed

It's been about a week. The part works so far without issue. Problem resolved! Only problem was that the installation video doesn't tell you how to remove this specific part. The one in the video comes out with screws. For this one you need to slide a putty knife under the white part of the latch (next to the little lock icon) then push the piece in that direction to release it. The removal of the old part and installation of the new would have been very quick had I known that. Instead I wasted a lot of time looking at it, trying to remove and install without breaking it.

Parts that you sell together do not work together

This assembly did not match the latch piece on the lid so I ordered a new latch according to your parts list and sales consultant and that one did not fit neither , I ended up with the same one as the old part that did not work with this assembly. I am so frustrated and mad.

Was easy to install, but was generally poor.

It was a little tricky to work out how to slot it in place, but easy once that was done. Overall the part is poorly made and it's not surprising it fails.

Part didn't fit

The part didn't fit on my washing machine. I think they play a little loose with their part numbers (fuzzy match).

Easy to install

Easy to install if you take your time and examine how the latch clips into place on the machine. Use a small flat blade screw driver to release the plastic clips and gently detach it from washing machine lid. Use caution when installing the new latch to ensure the plastic release clips are correctly seating before snapping the new latch into place. Good Luck
