I am glad that I can order new parts for older machines. I bought a older, well running Craftsman snowblower for $100. Changed the oil and new spark plug, ran like almost new. My first winter, it felt like it was not throwing snow as well as it should, maybe throwing snow 5ft. I took off the shroud and found that the drive pulley was failing. I used it for two years, but this year I went online, put in my model number, found the part easily from the schematics, and ordered it. It was at my door in a few days. A relatively easy part to swap, I had the old pulley off and the new pulley installed in 20 minutes. I got to use it today with 4” of heavy snow that fell last night. Cleared my driveway in 30 minutes, blower now throws the snow 20 ft, much further than before.
