Perfect replacement
Everything back to normal after an hour. I did the repair myself. Too bad GE is no longer a dependable product. Less than three years old and used in a two-member household 3-times a week. I will definitely NOT purchase another GE product.

Read the Instructions
It took longer than I expected and I had to do it twice because the video I watched failed to mention that the circuit board has to be modified to work with your particular model dishwasher. Their is a connector that needs to be configured by relocating a block/blocks (their are four individual blocks which pull out easily). The instruction sheet details which configuration you must use. However, the instruction sheet does not tell you how to remove and reinstall the blocks. They just pull out but you may find they all come out do watch out where the go (mine flew out). You do need to pull out the dishwasher so check your water line and electrical line to make sure you have enough length or you will need to disconnect them. The task took longer than I expected but all of them do the first time.
