Correct temperature

My Kenmore oven is 18 years old. The connector prongs on this probe are flat and the insulated connector is a double square. My prongs are round with a square next to a 5 sided connector housing. I carefully ground and cut the connector to remove the wires. I then slightly bent the flat pins and forced them into the factory round female connection. The "more info" in the description page says it may take porcelain connectors. I wish that information was included on the item page. It would have been very easy and quick with the proper connector.

New replacement

The sensor arrived very quick. However, when I went to replace it the connectors didn't match. It did give directions on the website on how to swap the connectors out, but I didn't really want to do that.

Connector Problem???

It looks like the same probe as the original. But the connector is different. I had to remove the connector from the new one and use the connector from the old probe. You should offer some options on the connectors. Maybe ship a couple of different ones so it would be a bit more simple.

The sensor was not the correct part,

The "experts" said it was the correct part, went in easy enough, but being the incorrect part, it could not plug into the stove.
