Very easy job to replace.
Took 5 mins. To pull hose from compression fitting, push hose "in" hold down the outer ring of the fitting, pull hose out. Set new hose by pushing in all the way (or to line on hose) and pull the hose back--this time without holding the ring of the connector in--you'll see the ring pull out and bind the hose in place-sealed. Done. Replace like for like electrical, and you're set. I had replaced the "back of Fridge" valve prior, but didn't need to. you can validate the back of fridge valve AND the filter/filter housing by testing for water pressure at the back top of fridge coupler. (have a bucket and helper). If you're getting water "out" there, then the problem is the Door Valve (this part). $43 part and DIY vs. $493 repair. Oh yeah...
