Doesn't fit.
Threaded length of cap isn't long enough. When I tighten the cap, about half the circumference is not engaged in threads on the gas tank. If I remove the internal venting feature I get another 1/4 turn. This should not happen when I buy parts for my Craftsman tiller from SearsParts.com. Probably a Briggs & Stratton error, but the result is the same: I wasted my time and money. It is out of character to have this sort of problem from Sears parts.com. Everybody gets one Mulligan.

I gave the model number and what I needed for my tiller. The gas cap is different than the original one and doesn't seem to fil as well
