The part was fine. Getting the gasket properly positioned under the metal brackets took some time and several adjustments. Then getting the door flat so it fit the rest of the freezer took 2 tries. Guess there is a reason to pay repairmen the big bucks.

Gasket repair on old freezer.
I removed old gasket in one piece & installed new without much trouble!!! we can tell that frost dose not from as fast. Manuel defrost.
