Easy to install after reading instructions

Could install the part in less than half the time since doing it once. Just took a bit of time to read the instructions.. Am concerned that this part may not be as durable as I would like since it failed when the refrigerator was only about 4 years old.

Reservoir tank

Length may have to be adjusted and the mounting tabs don’t line up completely , you will have to adjust them if possible. I couldn’t get both to line up .

Splice it in

Buy 2 shark bite connectors and splice it where it's convenient. Don't try to remove old tubing from original connection points. I broke one fitting at solenoid doing this. Shark bites are simple and leak proof. You could do this in 10 mins.

Instructions would be nice

It installed real easy except when it came to connecting to water inlet. Now I have to spend another 80 to get the entire part water inlet when it should have gone right in. Should be instructions, but I guess they cant stand DIY's.

Felt liked the agent worked on commission

They sent completely the wrong part. I have a copy of the chat transcript. It was absolutely clear that I needed a plastic tank, not this hose. The agent sent photos and links to photos during the chat. Still they sent the part I said was absolutely not right.

This is the wrong part for our refrigerator

It does not appear to be compatible all - it is a hose and it needs to replace a 'tank'. Our model number is Kenmore Elite 79575546400. Photo added of the part it needs to replace - 615A
