Reviews
Easy to install.
I am a 66 year old woman. I installed the spindle assembly on my trimmer. Plus I put a new belt on too. So that tells you it was fairly easy.

Fit perfect, but needed to tap mount holes.
The spindle assembly went together well, but the 4 mount holes were not threaded. The mower I was installing the part on came with self tapping screws, but it took some liquid wrench and some tightening and loosening to cut the threads in the casting. Not a big deal, but I was expecting some sort of pre-thread if not a full thread in the holes. Other than that, the spindle works great!

Weed eater part
The original weed eater lasted me at least 5 years. It just got worn down by constant use and it was still together and marginally functional when I decided to replace the part that spins and holds the string. The part arrived and looked great. I installed it in about one hour with minor difficulties. Within 3 hours one of the main pieces of the new part (plastic) broke off and scattered to the wind. Now the string head wobbles and feels like it is going to break off. I am afraid to use it. It has been a sad waste of money at this point because the rest of the original machine is solid and very funtional.

Simple. Straight forward.
No instructions came with it. That would have been nice but the part was rather easy to change anyway so no big deal.
